Operation Christmas Child: Week 2

All November on my Twitch channel, we support Operation Christmas Child – a project of Samaritan’s Purse, an international relief organization. We’re having our usual morning stream 6:30-7:50 am ET and some additional surprise streams throughout the month. I will pack a shoebox live onstream each day. All tips, subscriptions, and cheer bits will be donated to OCC on-stream at the end of the month. (This is still a live Christian music stream, playing your requests from the songlist!) If you can’t attend the livestream, but want to donate and be included in our totals on UkuleleWorship, you can use these links:

If you’re physically packing a box, National Collection Week is Nov. 15–22, 2021. Or you can drop off a box to me at Ponce Church any Sunday before Nov. 22.

For our devotionals this week, we’re watching:

MONDAY (Two short ones)
JASMINE’S FAVORITE ITEMS God Hears Our Prayers: Jasmine and other children in the south African nation of Namibia find good news and great joy as they open their Operation Christmas Child shoebox gifts.

GERGANA’S STORY: PROOF OF GOD’S LOVE Gergana grew up poor in Bulgaria and realized how much God loved her when she received an Operation Christmas Child shoebox gift. Now, years later, she packs shoeboxes so other kids in need will also know the love of Christ.

TUESDAY (Two short ones)
BRYCE’S STORY: SHOEBOX STARTS TRANSFORMATION Bryce Pablo received an Operation Christmas Child gift-filled shoebox in the Philippines when he was 4 years old. It inspired him to learn more about God and then to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with his family, who gladly received the Gospel.

EMPOWERING KIDS TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE Trinity Christian Academy in Addison, Texas, is empowering fourth grade students to make a difference in the lives of children in need around the world by helping to collect 1,000 Operation Christmas Child shoebox gifts.

THE GREAT COMMISSION IN ACTION An Operation Christmas Child gift-filled shoebox is a tangible expression of God’s love and is an opportunity for the Gospel to be shared with a child who doesn’t know Jesus. Churches help fulfill the Great Commission with every shoebox they pack.

AMANDA’S STORY: WARRIOR FOR CHRIST Amanda Urgolites, a young Pennsylvania woman with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, is creating 1,500 sturdy bags, backpacks, purses, and aprons to put inside Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes and encourages everyone to pack a gift for children in need this year.

CREATIVE AND SAFE WAYS TO PACK A SHOEBOX Check out creative and safe ways to pack Operation Christmas Child gift-filled shoeboxes for children in need overseas and share with them God’s love.

**BONUS** I will also share the adorable PROMO VIDEO that our friends at Why Disciples made for us!
