Today’s devotional is titled “Freedom From Mistakes”. We are reminded that God doesn’t call us because we are already perfect, but his grace is sufficient for us. Our missed notes or wrong words are not reason to stop serving Him.

Ephesians 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

2 Corinthians 12:9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Psalm 37:23-24 The steps of a man are established by the LORD, And He delights in his way. When he falls, he will not be hurled headlong, Because the LORD is the One who holds his hand.

Joshua 1:9 Remember that I commanded you to be strong and brave. Don’t be afraid, because the Lord your God will be with you everywhere you go.”

What are some reasons someone might not “feel good enough” to do what God asks of you?

What does God’s Word say about the inadequacies we think we have, when it comes to doing His work?
